Two capsules supply 530 mg of ALA, 205 mg of EPA, 154 mg of DHA, 152 mg of GLA and 200 mg of oleic acid. The fatty acids are derived from a unique blend of fish, flaxseed and borage oil. The great thing about this product is that it utilizes the latest research on essential fatty acids, namely, the fact that science recognizes that there are 2 subsets of these essential lipids. There are "parent" essential fatty acids (parent EFAs like parent omega-3 & parent omega-6) and "derivative" essential fatty acids (derivative EFAs like ALA or alpha-linolenic acid or EPA & DHA from flaxseed or fish oils). Many supplement companies use only the derivative EFAs as if they know how much our bodies actually need and then, they usually provide too much.
