NOTE: Biotics Research Corp. has analyzed dozens of Tumeric/Curcumin preparations in the market place. I was told by one of their biochemists that EVERY Curcumin product they tested with their Spectrograph equipment showed that all the Curcumin products had traces of solvents that were left over from the extracting process from Tumeric. So, I asked them about the Curcumin Biotics uses and he said " It is probably there, but our equipment could NOT detect any of the solvents."
This product provides broad antioxidant support and supplies a broad array of phytonutrient compounds that have been shown to suppress activation of NF-kappaB and AP-1 and the associated kinases. NF-kappaB is a molecule inside each cell that becomes activated to stimulate the production of inflammatory chemicals that promote pain, inflammation, and a variety of problems.
New research is showing that many disease conditions are associated with inappropriate activation of Nuclear Transcription factor kappaB (kappa-Beta), generally referred to as NF-kappaB. Inhibition of NF-kappaB is now a major therapeutic goal in the treatment and prevention of a wide range of illnesses, including cancer, arthritis (degenerative and rheumatoid), autoimmune diseases, and neurological illnesses such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
What does KappArest do for the body?
The inflammatory cascade initiated by an enviromental trigger can lead to the activation of NF-kappaB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells). NF-kappaB is a protein complex that acts as an intracellular ?amplifier? that promotes the production of the direct mediators of inflammation such as cytokines, prostaglandins, leukotrienes, nitric oxide, and free radicals. If NF-kappaB is not inhibited, it becomes free to enter the nucleus of cells and bind with the DNA, subsequently activating genes which encode for the increased production of further inflammatory mediators. When left unchecked, this can lead to the development of health issues such as pain, inflammation, cardiovascular degeneration, insulin resistance, autoimmune disorders, free radical pathology, and neurodegeneration.
Unfortunately, inflammation has become overwhelmingly prevalent, largely in part to the pro-inflammatory nature of the Standard American Diet (SAD) and the nutritional deficiencies resulting from it, stress-laden lifestyles, and other constant environmental insults.
Formulated in conjunction with Alex Vasquez, D.C., D.O., KappArest? contains a proprietary blend of curcuminoids (turmeric extract), Boswellia serrata extract, propolis, green tea extract, ginger extract, rosemary extract, celery seed extract, resveratrol, alpha-lipoic acid, Phytolens, and Piper nigrum.
KappArest? was designed to supply targeted nutrition in order to inhibit the production of NF-kappaB.

Valerie S Richardson –
I began taking this product for a painful swollen knee that I couldn’t take ibuprofen for, and it helped immensely. When I stopped taking it the pain and swelling were back so I will definitely continue to take especially while my knee is healing. I definitely noticed a difference in the inflammation.
