GTA-FORTE (Desiccated Thyroid Support) – 90 Capsules

GTA-FORTE works like the prescription drug Armour's desiccated thyroid or NatureThroid but has most of the thyroid hormones removed. I suggest a person take 1 tablet twice daily for about 10 days, check axillary temperatures the first thing in the morning. If temperatures are below 97.6 then increase dosage to 2 tablets in the morning and 1 tablet in the afternoon. Repeat temperature testing. If this does not get your axillary temperatures up to and above 97.6degrees then you may need to use a prescription thyroid preparation.

One last thought on thyroid glandular material. It is my understanding that in order to purchase thyroid glands from a meat packer, dairy farmer, or gland supplier, you must have a drug license. Biotics Research is able to do this because they have a drug license. I wonder how many of the companies that are currently marketing thyroxine-free thyroid glandular products have a drug license. Perhaps they are buying the entire equine or bovine neck and removing the thyroid glands.

NOTE: You need to also use an iodine supplement. I suggest IODIZYME-HP.
