Flax Seed Oil contains 1000 mg of certified organically grown cold pressed flax seed oil per capsule. The source of this flaxseed oil is Barleans, the worlds largest producer of food-grade flaxseed oil. There is no C02 extraction and the raw material is pressed in small batches to prevent the oil from being excessively heated and thus causing rancidity.

Nutritionally, we use this product as a source of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's). In this manner, Flax Seed Oil is a precursor to many hormones in the body and is also a precursor of the "good" prostaglandins to reduce the chance of muscle cramping and allergy reactions.
